Our Mission
I'm Ryan Kennedy — once a child in care, now a Foster Carer and qualified Social Worker. I know what it's like to be treated as a file instead of a person, to move through the system without a steady voice speaking up for your truth. But I also know the power of transformation when carers and professionals are equipped with real understanding and insight.
At The Kennedy Framework, our mission is to transform how Fostering Agencies, Local Authorities and Foster Carers understand and support looked after children by embedding lived experience at the heart of professional practice.
Every workshop, every conversation, every piece of training I deliver is rooted in the experiences I lived and the insights I’ve gained through years of frontline and leadership work in fostering and social care. I’ve been the child in the system. I’ve been the Foster Carer. I’ve been the Social Worker. Now, I help bridge those worlds.
The Kennedy Framework was born from a belief that real change happens when we connect the emotional with the practical, when lived experience doesn’t just inform training, but transforms it.
